The metro area will see below-normal temperatures and precipitation heading into the weekend, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Louisville.
NWS meteorologist Chase Graham said clouds will start to increase late Nov. 28, but there will not be any precipitation until the afternoon of Nov. 29. When the precipitation begins, Louisville could see “a burst of some snow” or “a mix of rain and snow” that will turn into rain by the evening, he said. The rain should taper off Nov. 30, with the possibility of a brief rain and snow mix.
“If we do see any accumulation, it’ll be pretty short-lived before it melts later that night,” Graham said.
