HARRISBURG, Ill. (KFVS) - A Harrisburg, Illinois man is facing multiple charges after an incident Friday afternoon.
According to the Harrisburg Police Department, officers found a vehicle traveling on Locust Street around 4:30 p.m. on November 28, which had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
When the officers tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped away then crashed into two unattended vehicles a few blocks away. Three suspects ran away.
Bystanders pointed law enforcement in the direction the suspects ran. Officers were able to locate and detain one adult male, 33-year-old Jerry D. Zappa, and two juvenile females who were later released.
