Fans of Strictly Come Dancing claim to have been left 'heartbroken' and 'devastated' by this week's result after a spoiler leaked it late on Saturday night. And this week's eliminated star, as well as being a big favourite with viewers, was seen as a 'dead cert' for the final just a few weeks ago.

With just a few weeks to go now until this year's final, the competition is definitely heating up in the BBC ballroom and, after being given a reprieve last week, when the planned elimination in Blackpool was scrapped after La Voix withdrew due to injury, the axe was ready to fall once again on Saturday, as the six couples left in the running for the Glitterball returned to the dancefloor.
