BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU’s pursuit of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin appears to be moving forward, with the university preparing to send planes to Oxford on Sunday for Kiffin and his family, according to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger.
Dellenger reported that LSU officials and Kiffin’s representatives held a call after the Tigers’ game at Oklahoma as both sides worked to solidify a potential agreement.
Previous reporting from Dellenger indicated LSU’s offer included a seven-year, incentive-heavy deal valued at around $90 million, with an additional $25 million in roster bonuses.
Kiffin has served as Ole Miss’s head coach since 2020, guiding the Rebels to one of the winningest stretches in school history. He previously coached at Florida Atlantic, USC, and Tennessee.
