Just ask Harold “Skip” Arrich about that celebration at Yasgur’s Farm in Bethel, New York.
The retired some of whose memories of the famed Aug. 15-18, 1969 festival are music to the ears of the folks collecting Woodstock oral histories.
Representatives from The Museum at Bethel Woods, who made a recent visit to Florida to interview festivalgoers, have recorded approximately 1,500 such histories over the past five years, said Neal V. Hitch, senior curator.
“ We record video and audio, but what we are archiving is the transcriptions of the interviews,” Hitch said.
