LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Snow through this morning and poor travel conditions on area roads makes Sunday another First Alert Weather Day.
Our first widespread significant snow of the season causes impacts to roads across Mid-Michigan through Sunday morning. Fortunately, temperatures climbing above freezing today should greatly help with the cleanup efforts, as travel improves later in the day. Still, patience and extra caution will be needed if you must be out and about this morning.
Snowfall totals for most have appeared to be in the 4-7″ range. Lansing officially measured 6.6″ as of 7:30 this morning. We will update for specific locations as the reports come in.
The Winter Storm Warnings for the entire region fade away at 10 a.m. as the snow tapers off before lunchtime in most places.
