VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – One person was killed early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 77 in Carroll County involving two tractor-trailers, a pickup truck, and a car, Virginia State Police reported.
The crash occurred around 5:09 a.m. on Nov. 30 in the northbound lanes near mile marker 8.
Police said a pickup truck traveling in the left lane struck the rear of a tractor-trailer before veering off into the median.
Shortly afterward, a Tesla moving from the left lane to the right lane collided with a second tractor-trailer.
The Tesla then returned to the left lane and struck the first tractor-trailer. The driver of the Tesla died at the scene; their identity has not been released.
