At 1:57 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield and Tioga counties.
"Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour are possible."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning commute," adds the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling.
