The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 1:57 a.m. on Monday valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Cambria, Somerset and Bedford counties.
The weather service states, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning commute," adds the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling.
