A County Durham dangerous driver who crashed a car into a house following a dispute with the occupants has been jailed. Kieron Anthony Luke drove a Mitsubishi Shogun into a house in Trimdon Station just after midnight on August 9 following a row.

No one was injured in the crash, but the 27-year-old fled the scene in the vehicle after causing significant damage to the property . He was chased by a Durham Roads and Armed Policing officers but ended up crashing into two parked cars as well as a police car when he reversed at high speed in a desperate attempt to get away again. An officer sustained a serious injury to her wrist as a result, with Luke driving off before abandoning
