GREENE COUNTY, Tennessee — Cocke County Attorney Charlotte Leibrock has been charged in Greene County after she reportedly appeared intoxicated after speaking to correctional staff at the Greene County Detention Center, according to a report from the Greeneville Police Department.

Leibrock was at the detention center to see a client, according to GPD.

Afterwards, an officer with GPD followed her from the facility. The report said that Leibrock was traveling 10 miles below the posted speed limit, and the officer then pulled her over after she crossed the center line five times.

The report says Leibrock "appeared anxious" and told the officer, "I'm okay, I'm sober, I promise you," before the officer questioned her demeanor or asked any investigative DUI questions.
