GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a January overdose that left a 23-year-old man dead in Julian, according to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a home on Folgers Mill Road on Jan. 6, 2025, where they found Jacob Clinton Sprinkle, 23, deceased from a reported overdose, the sheriff’s office said. After an extensive investigation, detectives filed felony death by distribution charges this week against Dakota Ryan Blevins, 24, and Heather Dawn Harris, 51.

Both suspects were arrested on Monday and are being held in the Guilford County Detention Center in Greensboro. Blevins is being held without bond, while Harris is being held on a $500,000 secured bond, according to a press release.
