BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the season of giving in full swing, nonprofits are looking for a little extra help as today marks Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is a day for nonprofits to reach out and receive a little extra help as we get closer to the end of the year. The south-central Kentucky community is no stranger to this, though, as they have showed up time and time again supporting our local nonprofits and the missions that they fight for.

“Donations aren’t just about money. It’s a donation of time, donation of resources, their connections, whatever they can do to help us grow. So we’re we’re fortunate to have the best support system and volunteer network and donors in the area,” said Kentucky Kids on the Block executive director Ashley Reynolds.
