WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Wichita family can’t go home for at least a couple weeks following an overnight weekend crash in which an impaired driver’s car slammed into a wall and partially entered a bedroom to the family’s apartment.

The organization, DUI Victims Center of Kansas set up a fundraiser to help the family , which declined to speak with media about what happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

“While no major injuries were reported, the home is uninhabitable and repairs are expected to take two to three weeks,” the DUI Victims Center of Kansas confirmed.
