TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka pizza restaurant dedicated the day to the law enforcement officers shot during a call last month.
The deputies themselves were at Glory Days Pizza for a fundraiser held in their honor.
Deputy Christian Moran, Corporal Clayton Hartpence, and K-9 handler James Cason attended the fundraiser, grateful for the community support.
“It’s been very amazing to see the community outreach for all four of us and our families; it’s been really grateful,” said Corporal Clayton Hartpence, Osage County.
Four law enforcement officers were shot during a call in mid-November: Osage County deputies Christian Moran, Clayton Hartpence, and James Cason, and state trooper Adam Ellis.
