Scott McTominay suffered a serious scare ahead of collecting his award as Serie A Player of the Year after his plane had to make an emergency landing.
The Scotland star scored a famous opening goal at Hampden with a sensational overhead kick to send Steve Clarke 's side on their way to beating Denmark and qualifying for the World Cup for the first time in 28 years.

McTominay collected his award at the glittering Gran Gala del Calcio Awards ceremony in Milan this week - the Italian equivalent of PFA awards.
But he was involved in a frightening incident when flying to Milan from Naples for the ceremony, along with his manager, Antonio Conte.
