ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The U.S. men’s national team will play some of its final tuneup matches before the 2026 World Cup in Atlanta, U.S. Soccer announced Tuesday.
The U.S. will play Belgium at 3:30 p.m. March 28 and Portugal at 7 p.m. March 31. Both matches will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Portugal is currently ranked sixth in the FIFA Men’s World Rankings, Belgium eighth and the U.S. is No. 14.
The U.S. men’s national team previously played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in a 2-1 loss to Panama in the 2024 Copa America.
The U.S. men’s national team has only played four matches in Atlanta since 1967, including the Copa America match.
