An incendiary device was thrown the smashed window of a West Village storefront early Wednesday, igniting a small rubbish fire, police and the FDNY said.

It wasn’t immediately clear why the location, which appears to be an out-of-business smoke shop, on Christopher St. near Hudson St., was targeted.

The vandals first broke a front window before hurling the device, possibly a Molotov cocktail, into the store about 3:10 a.m, police said.

The fire was contained to the first-floor of the two-story building and was quickly put out with nobody hurt, FDNY officials said.

Six male suspects, all captured on surveillance video obtained by cops, are being sought.
