WEST BUFFALO TOWNSHIP — A Union County man accused of intentionally setting fire to his cabin told investigators that he did not care about putting first responders in danger with his actions, according to state police in Milton.
Benjamin Allen Houdeshell Sr., 65, of Walbash Road, Mifflinburg, was charged with four felony counts of arson, reckless burning, criminal mischief and causing catastrophe; two misdemeanor counts of failure to control a fire and disorderly conduct; and a summary count of dangerous burning. The charges were filed by state Trooper Luke Hook, of the Milton State Police Barracks, in the Mifflinburg office of District Judge Jeffrey Mensch.
