LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Crime Stoppers is investigating a larceny case and hit-and-run case.
On Nov. 11 around 3 p.m., the victim stopped at the Walgreens on 27th and Vine streets. She had her dog with her, a Jack Russell Terrier, and tied him to the sign outside while she went in the store.
She told Crime Stoppers that when she came out 10 minutes later, her dog was gone.
Video was reviewed but the camera was so far away it was of very little value. It reportedly showed the individual who took the dog was a black male wearing a darker colored top and lighter colored pants.
Crime Stoppers said there were no other cameras, and no other witnesses available to help.
