BARDSTOWN, Ky. – One child was transported after fire personnel say his clothes caught on fire in Bardstown this past weekend.
The Bardstown Fire Department says at 4:21 p.m. Sunday, Bardstown units responded with NCEMS to Rogans Trailer Park for a report of a 14-year-old that had been burned.
Upon arrival, fire personnel say they located a child that had second-degree burns on his back and right arm.
According to the fire department, crews treated the child, who was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital.
After investigating, fire personnel say they learned the child stood too close to a propane heater, causing his clothes to ignite.
