This is the face of an Ipswich man who was jailed for raping a drunk woman.
Leon Thomas, formerly of Farina Close in Ipswich, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday, November 27, for sentencing after being found guilty of rape by a jury at an earlier hearing.
The 53-year-old has been jailed for five years and ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life.
The court heard that Thomas and the victim were known to each other and that the attack had happened at her home address.
A video recording had taken place at the time of the offence and even though the visual footage was unclear, audio was captured.
It was played out in court and police said it was clear the victim was asking her attacker to stop.
