Four people have been arrested and charged in connection with a kidnapping in Vaughan from last month.
On Nov. 14, a 24-year-old man from Vaughan was in a parking lot near Jane Street and Hwy. 7 in Vaughan when multiple suspects approached him and forced him into a vehicle, York Regional Police said in a news release.
The victim was held by the suspects for several days before being released in Toronto on Nov. 19, in the Meadowvale Road and Sheppard Avenue East area.
The victim, who had minor injuries, asked for help from an individual who then contacted police.
On Wednesday, police searched multiple homes in Toronto, arresting and charging four individuals from the city.
