A snow squall warning has been issued for portions of southern and central New Hampshire.

The warning is in effect for Rockingham County, south-central Strafford County, east-central Hillsborough County, and southeastern Merrimack County in New Hampshire until 5:00 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, a snow squall was located over Manchester and moving southeast at 45 mph.

Communities in the warned area include Nottingham, Newfields, Raymond, Atkinson and Hampstead, among other surrounding towns.
