There aren’t many families who haven’t been touched by Alzheimer’s Disease. About 80% of adults diagnosed with this condition receive care in their homes.

The Alzheimer’s Association says this is when they see more caretakers reaching out for help.

Brittany Shultz, Program Manager at Alzheimer’s Tennessee Chapter says “Around this time, we have family members going home, seeing folks maybe they haven't seen in several months, and they're noticing some behaviors that are concerning or troubling to them.”

Shultz says that is why they have partnered with Erlanger for an upcoming series to empower caregivers.
