SALEM, N.H. —
A New Hampshire man is accused of smashing the windshield of a family's vehicle near a busy shopping mall on Thursday evening because he was irritated the family was driving too slowly, prosecutors told a judge.
Multiple 911 calls at 6:25 p.m. reported the incident on Rockingham Park Boulevard, near The Mall at Rockingham Park, which is just off Interstate 93, according to the Salem Police Department . When officers arrived, they found a vehicle with a smashed windshield.
"A family, with a small child and an infant, reported the suspect vehicle had cut them off in traffic and a male subject had gotten out of the car and began smashing their windshield with a baseball bat while threatening them," police wrote.
