It was freezing on the streets of Springfield, but only after standing out there for a few minutes while others are out here for days, weeks, even months at a time, and we’re here to share that there are options for those people.

In the summer months, people are more likely to brave the elements outdoors, but when the temperatures hit the single digits, it’s just not safe for people to live out on the streets, and it’s something that the shelter system here in western Mass prepares for.
