LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - On Friday, Dec. 5, the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) held a meeting on DTE’s application for a data center in Saline township.

However, no decision was reached.

The energy company applied for two special contracts to service a 1.4-gigawatt data center in Saline Township.

According to Nessel, DTE repeatedly claimed the special contracts must be approved by Dec. 5.

However, in its response to Nessel’s “notice of intervention ‚" DTE acknowledges that the “publicly-redacted” contract allows the deadline to be extended to Dec. 19, the AG’s office says.

Nessel has previously criticized the contract for a lack of transparency.
