WESTFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night, first responders rushed over to put out a house fire on Howard Street in Westfield.
Western Mass News was on the scene and spotted five fire engines parked in front of a house with smoke billowing from the roof.
Further details are limited at this time. What we do know is that the Holyoke Fire Department was called for mutual aid to help put out the fire, as well as residents are being asked to avoid the area.
