A council has evicted a nightmare tenant. Stoke-on-Trent City Council ordered the Chell Heath eviction after the tenant attacked three police officers.

It comes after Staffordshire Police had received regular call-outs to the address and neighbours' lives were being impacted.

A council spokesman said: "A tenant in Chell Heath has been evicted following their conviction for a serious crime – bringing relief to residents who faced ongoing disruption. Stoke-on-Trent City Council took action after the tenant assaulted three police officers and carried out persistent anti-social behaviour that repeatedly impacted families and neighbours.
