KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A pedestrian was critically injured early Monday in a hit-and-run crash near NE Vivion Road and N. Lister.

The collision occurred just after midnight Dec. 8, authorities said.

A preliminary investigation found the pedestrian was standing or walking in the southernmost lane of Vivion Road when an eastbound vehicle struck them. The driver didn’t stop, fleeing the scene.

The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.
