GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Chief is expected to share additional details and release video of officers fatally shooting a man who fired shots at responding officers this weekend.

Chief Eric Winstrom plans to share the video and answer questions surrounding the domestic call on Saturday that ended with a man dead. The news conference is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

Authorities said they were first called to the 700 block of Strobel Avenue NW around noon on Dec. 6. A woman called 911 to report a domestic situation where a man was threatening her with a gun. She told police that the suspect was now at his house.
