After several days of scattered tropical downpours, our weather pattern will start to change today.

We still have a shot of seeing wet weather, but rain chances are lower today at just 40%. An area of low pressure associated with Invest 93L continues to move along the north-central Gulf coast, bringing the potential for flooding from the Florida Panhandle to Louisiana. That same system continues to pull deep tropical moisture across the Florida Peninsula, but as it moves farther away from South Florida, it’s impact on our local weather will lessen.
