OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Police have arrested one of the seven people injured in Saturday’s early morning shooting in North Omaha .
Omaha Police said in a news release Monday afternoon that 31-year-old Maurice Brown is facing seven counts of using a gun to commit a felony, six counts of second-degree assault, one county of first-degree assault, and one count of possession of a gun by a prohibited person.
The shooting was first reported at 4:20 a.m. as a ShotSpotter activation alert indicating multiple shots had been fired in the parking lot at Kelly’s Package Liquor, located at 30th and Pinkney streets.
Officers said that upon arrival, they saw “a large crowd leaving the scene.”
