SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Sioux City and communities in the surrounding area will celebrate their local law enforcement and fire departments during National Night Out.

The Sioux City Neighborhood Network announced that it is organizing a “ National Night Out ”- a local effort to promote neighborhood involvement in crime prevention activities, police and community partnerships and neighborhood relationships.

The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The following neighborhoods in Sioux City will host events with free food and other games, bounce houses, etc.

Radiant Life Community Church: 2410 West 1st Street

Riverside Lutheran Church: 1817 Riverside Boulevard

Dale Street Park: 1514 Dale Street

Latham Park: 1915 South Lemon Street
