Tropical Storm Henriette continued moving through the Central Pacific early today, with forecasters expecting the system to pass east-northeast of Hawaii late this week before drifting just north of the islands by Sunday and Monday.
As of 5 a.m. Hawaii time, Henriette was about 1,035 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, with maximum sustained winds near 50 mph and higher gusts, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
The storm was moving west-northwest at about 15 mph and is not expected to change in strength over the next few days, followed by gradual weakening late in the week. No coastal watches or warnings are in effect.
