AKRON, Ohio (WJW) -- A former Archbishop Hoban High School teacher is charged with felony sex offenses relating to two students at the school.

A warrant is out now for Chad Kendall, 36, of Akron, on two felony counts of sexual battery, Akron Municipal Court records show.

Kendall was arrested in June on a misdemeanor count of assault stemming from a March 2024 incident in which he allegedly grabbed a student by the neck during rehearsal for a high school play, according to a police report.

Kendall admitted to grabbing the student during an interview with police, according to a report.

During the assault investigation, two students came forward "detailing their sexual relationships" with him, which allegedly happened between the spring 2023 and fall/winter 2024 semesters, according to a
