OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The First Alert 6 Weather and Traffic team would like to warn drivers of storms moving into the Omaha metro during the Wednesday morning commute.
In the First Alert 6 Traffic blog , Meteorologist Jaret Lansford says gusty winds, lightning and downpours all likely over the next couple of hours. Those traveling in the metro should be ready for slick conditions -- especially at ramps, curves, and interchanges.
If you are going to work, you are advised to slow down and leave extra time for your drive.
One crash that happened just after 7 a.m. on Interstate 680 northbound at Pacific is impacting traffic. The right lane is blocked, so drivers should stay left and slow down in the area.
