HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Showers and thunderstorms have pushed southward across Eastern Nebraska this morning, continuing at this time into Southeast Nebraska. Meanwhile, upper level debris clouds have built back to the west and southwest away from the storms. Along with that, there are some low clouds and fog over western and northwestern parts of the area. There is also some smokiness in the upper levels from the Western U.S. wildfires.

The morning thunderstorms, which are not expected to be severe will continue pushing southeastward, clearing our area later this morning. It may take some time, but some of the clouds around, should gradually make way for more sun as the day goes on.
