An unsettled weather pattern will bring not only heat but storms at times across Central Iowa during the Iowa State Fair. The good news is that we'll have partly cloudy skies for the kick-off of the Iowa State Fair Parade this evening through downtown Des Moines.
A warm front pushing across the state early tomorrow morning will provide the lift needed to develop more rain and a few thunderstorms by early Thursday morning.
