OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The last of four suspects in a 2024 kidnapping case has pleaded guilty, according to Douglas County Court records.
Jared Pappan pleaded guilty Tuesday to an amended charge of attempted kidnapping.
Instead of facing up to life in prison, Pappan will receive up to a maximum of 20 years. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 16.
Cotrell Knight pleaded not contest to attempted kidnapping on July 30 and was sentenced to 364 days of incarceration with credit for time served of 283 days. He is no longer in jail.
Previously, Ashley Bordeaux, 31, negotiated a plea of no contest for a reduced charge of attempted kidnapping in June.
Her sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 26.
A co-defendant, Devan Spera, pleaded guilty previously to the same charge, while a charge of drug po
