A mix of sun and clouds Thursday with below-normal temperatures. High temperatures will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s in the Upstate and in the mid to upper 70s in the mountains. Isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible in the mountains. A spotty shower or storm is possible in the Upstate.

The weekend looks mainly dry, especially in the Upstate. Expect a mostly to partly sunny sky. Slightly higher storm chances arrive on Sunday. Scattered showers and storms are possible by the afternoon.

High temperatures will soar closer to normal by midweek next week with daily, isolated to scattered afternoon storm chances.
