CLEVELAND — Four teen juveniles were detained and one man arrested following an overnight chase in Cleveland , which came to an end when the suspect vehicle crashed into a pole on East 40th Street near Commerce Avenue.
The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office says it was around 2:20 a.m. Thursday when deputies assigned to the Downtown Safety Patrol “attempted to stop a stolen vehicle in the area of East 30th Street and Carnegie Avenue.”
Authorities say the vehicle did not stop and sped off.
During the pursuit, the sheriff’s office says deputies used “a precision immobilization technique” to stop the vehicle.
After the suspect vehicle crashed, authorities say six occupants exited and fled on foot. Four juveniles were detained following a brief foot chase. They were all released to parents
