HUDSON, Ohio — The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is investigating a shooting involving police that took place on Thursday morning in Hudson.

“It was shocking," said Alexis Osburn, a Hudson resident. "I was just so surprised, because that, like, that doesn't happen here.”

Officers responded around 4:11 a.m. to a report of a man walking in the roadway without shoes and yelling at drivers near State Route 91 and Stoney Hill Drive, according to a press release from the Hudson Police Department.

"There was a guy walking down the street with a t-shirt and bare feet, very tall guy… He started yelling at me as I rounded the corner from Stoney Hill to Darrow. I kept driving, but I just wanted you guys to maybe check that out, seems odd," said the 911 caller.
