HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Roughly the western half of Nebraska is dealing with areas of dense fog this morning. For most of these locations, a dense fog advisory is currently in effect until either 10:00am CDT or 11:00am CDT. Areas where it is not foggy are starting off mostly sunny. The fog could potentially hold back temperatures today, but eventually, the heat and humidity should win out. Look for highs today to range from the upper 80s northeast to the upper 90s southwest. Heat index values of 95° to 105° should be fairly common this afternoon. The majority of the area will remain quiet tonight. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible tonight in parts of Northwest Nebraska, but the majority of the area will remain dry overnight. Lows will mostly be from the mid 60s west to the mid 70s ea
