CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial will serve as the backdrop for a solemn ceremony Sunday morning as the community comes together to honor four Ohio law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

The 17th Annual Cops Ride takes on added significance this year following the recent death of Lorain Police Officer Phillip Wagner last month, underscoring the continuing dangers faced by those who serve in law enforcement.

The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at the memorial located at West 3rd Street and Lakeside Avenue, with WKYC's Monica Robins serving as master of ceremonies.
