OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A wanted fugitive was arrested Thursday morning at a home in Omaha.

The Omaha Police Department and the Fugitive Task Force, as well as a SWAT team, were called to the home near 49th and Franklin streets. The incident ended at about 9:15 a.m. Thursday.

Franklin Street between 48th and 49th streets was shut down Thursday morning for the arrest.

The SWAT team brought a dog and an armored vehicle and approached the house, which First Alert 6 is told is a rental home.

Our team on the scene says a woman came out from the home with her hands up. A man was also brought out of the home and he was arrested.

Authorities say the man was a wanted fugitive who was armed with a handgun. There were no injuries to anyone involved.
