STARK COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that occurred on Aug. 6, 2025, at around 9:13 PM on US Route 250 near milepost 3 in Sugarcreek Township, Stark County .

A 2013 Blue Ford Fusion was traveling westbound when it rear-ended a horse-drawn Amish buggy also heading west.

The buggy was who was traveling with his wife and two children. All four buggy occupants were injured in the crash.

The driver of the Ford Fusion was taken to Aultman Hospital with unspecified injuries.

The family in the buggy were taken to Mercy Hospital. Their children were later life flighted to Akron Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.

Brewster Fire and EMS responded to the scene and provided assistance.
