LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) -- An outpouring of love and support continues for fallen Lorain Police Officer Phillip Wagner and fellow Officers Peter Gale and Brent Payne, who were wounded in an ambush attack last month.

All day and night Thursday, proceeds from every meal ordered at Between the Bun in North Ridgeville were being donated to the officers and/or their families.

“We really wanted to do this because we love the police,” said Lacia Rutherford, Owner of Between the Bun, “The more money we make the more money we’re going to give.”

The restaurant located at 34445 Center Ridge Road has been a community hub for years and Rutherford has known some of officer Wagner’s family members for over a decade.
