ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A wish came true for a local baseball fan.

On Thursday at the Rawlings Experience in Maryland Heights, 15-year-old Luca learned he’ll be taking a special trip to the Big Apple to have the ultimate Yankee experience and to meet star player Aaron Judge.

The moment came after a year-long battle for Luca against an inflammatory disease that created a challenging medical journey for him.

Luca also got a chance to create his very own baseball glove Thursday, one he might just use when he’s at Yankee Stadium in a couple of weeks.
